The Fox Valley Metro Police Department serves the Villages of Kimberly and Little Chute, Wisconsin with a combined population of just over 19,600 people. Our Mission is 'Partnerships in Policing.' Through our mission we hope to develop and hold strong relationships with businesses and residents of our communities to deliver the highest quality of police service with dedication and objectivity.
The Fox Valley Metro Police Department was formed in 1995 when the Village of Kimberly, WI and Village of Little Chute, WI consolidated their police departments. For the past 30 years we have been proudly serving our communities with Compassion, Integrity and Professionalism.
At the Fox Valley Metro Police Department, we strive to enhance the quality of life by proactively patrolling in an effort to detect problems that can have a negative impact in our communities. By way of problem solving and community partnerships, we collaborate to identify solutions to issues that can have a negative impact on public safety.
In August of 2025, the Village of Kimberly Board voted to end the consortium for police services with the Village of Little Chute, a process which could take up to three years to actualize. In January of 2026, the Outagamie County Sheriff's Department began providing police services in the Village of Kimberly between the hours of 5a and 5p daily. The Fox Valley Metro Police Department will continue to provide police services to the Village of Kimberly between the hours of 5p to 5a.
