Park Improvement Donations From Great Wisconsin Cheese Festival
The strength of Little Chute as a community is its ability to come together when needed. The Great Wisconsin Cheese Festival is a great example of the cumulative effort of countless volunteers coming together to make a difference. The impact they have made on the Village of Little Chute through the years is remarkable. Here are some examples of what we’ve been able to accomplish together:
- $6,000 for batting cages project at Legion Park (2023 festival donation)
- $13,950 for message boards at Heesakker Park, Doyle Park, Legion Park, Creeekview Park & downtown (2022 festival donation)
- $12,250 for shade/patio project by Van Lieshout Park Rec Center (2019 festival donation)
- $25,000 for small shelter at Island Park (2018 festival doantion)
- $20,000 for Fox River Boardwalk Project (2017 festival donation)
- $13,244 for power pedestal & lighting by hill steps at Doyle Park (2015 festival donation)
- $23,000 for small shelter with signage by Heesakker Park lower parking lot (2015 festival donation)
- $20,000 for kitchen project at new Doyle Park shelter (2014 festival donation)
- $35,000 for new large shelter at Doyle Park (2013 festival donation)
- $29,200 for electrical improvements at Doyle Park (2012 & 2011 festival donations)

- Plus numerous donations from Cheese Fest to the Little Chute Diamond Club for projects they coordinated with the village for updates/redevelopment of village park ball diamonds, remodeling of concession stands, and construction of dugouts.
- Also numerous donations from Cheese Fest over the years have been made to Little Chute Fire Dept, Fox Valley Metro Police Dept, Little Chute Library, Little Chute Jets Football, Little Chute Recreation Events, and Little Chute Schools.
